Books I'm Looking Forward to in 2016

Last year (Having been inspired by posts that Emma was doing about what books she was looking forward to reading in 2015! Which go and look at her blog, she's doing it again for 2016 books this year!) I decided to also list what books I was already looking forward to in 2015! And now I thought it would be fun to do that post again this year! :)

The books with a plus next to them are debut books! Just thought that might be helpful to people who are trying to find more new authors! (And I'm pretty happy with how this time the Middle Grade and YA books are pretty even in terms of how many of each are listed! Last year I hadn't known about that many upcoming Middle Grade books!) :)

All of the books below are ones that I'm looking forward to a lot! :)

Middle Grade:

YA:

Non-Fiction:

Books That The Covers Have Not Been Released:

Middle Grade:

YA:

What 2016 YA and Middle Grade books are you looking forward to reading? Tell me here or on Twitter! I'm always looking to add books to my TBR list! :)

Waiting on Wednesday: Dumplin'

Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Breaking the Spine blog

This Wednesday I'm Waiting on: Dumplin' by Julie Murphy

Self-proclaimed fat girl Willowdean Dickson (dubbed “Dumplin’” by her former beauty queen mom) has always been at home in her own skin. Her thoughts on having the ultimate bikini body? Put a bikini on your body. With her all-American beauty best friend, Ellen, by her side, things have always worked . . . until Will takes a job at Harpy’s, the local fast-food joint. There she meets Private School Bo, a hot former jock. Will isn’t surprised to find herself attracted to Bo. But she is surprised when he seems to like her back.

Instead of finding new heights of self-assurance in her relationship with Bo, Will starts to doubt herself. So she sets out to take back her confidence by doing the most horrifying thing she can imagine: entering the Miss Clover City beauty pageant—along with several other unlikely candidates—to show the world that she deserves to be up there as much as any twiggy girl does. Along the way, she’ll shock the hell out of Clover City—and maybe herself most of all.

With starry Texas nights, red candy suckers, Dolly Parton songs, and a wildly unforgettable heroine— Dumplin’ is guaranteed to steal your heart.
