Top Ten Books I’ve Read That I’d Like In My Personal Library

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl blog

I would say that 90% of books I read are from the library, because I honestly couldn't afford to buy everything that I read (Another reason why libraries are so important!), and these are a few books that I've read from them (With one exception.), but don't own my own copies of (yet).

Top Ten Books I’ve Read That I’d Like In My Personal Library

I've loved Nancy Drew books since I was little, and I try to read all the new ND books that release. I wasn't sure if I would like this new graphic novel, but I was pleasantly surprised by it!

This was a good mystery!

I loved this book!

This series is so good, and if you haven't read it, I really think you should try it! Even if you're not usually into superhero books.

This was wasn't from the library, I borrowed it from my Mom (This is one of her favorite series!), and I really liked it! I'm trying to catch up to all the books before the new one releases next month.

A really good mystery!

I've slowly been reading all of Sophie Kinsella's books, and besides Finding Audrey (Which I already own.), this is my favorite of her books so far!

This was fun!

I own all the Keeper of the Lost Cities books but this one!

This was a really cool book!

What books are on your TTT list this week? :)

Upcoming 2019 Releases I'm Looking Forward to Reading!

Hi, everyone! I thought it would be fun to talk about some upcoming 2019 books I'm looking forward to reading! I haven't been able to talk much about 2019 books this year, and before I begin posting things about 2020 books, I really wanted to share the 2019 books I still want to read. These aren't the only books I'll read the rest of this year, and I know I probably forgot a bunch of books. But I think this list has some really good sounding books on it! Here we go! :)

Picture Books:

*sings Let It Go*

The other books in this series are so fun! I actually have a poster in my room with illustrations from the first book, that I got from Barnes & Noble a couple of years ago.

Both my Mom and I love the Mother Bruce books!

This one is obviously on my list. I love this authors books!

It's Star Wars, of course it's on my TBR list.

Middle Grade:

This looks fun!

Nancy Drew will always get added to my TBR list!

This sounds like a good book!

YA:

I just found out about this book from Emma's blog, and it sounds really good!

It's Frozen, of course I want to read it! Also, I really like Jen Calonita's books!

I've been wanting to read this book for awhile now!

This sounds good!

This looks like a fun read!

Books with royalty always interest me!

This looks interesting!

Adult:

I love historical mysteries!

Isn't the cover for this one adorable?

I liked the first book in this series a lot, and am looking forward to reading the next book!

My Mom and I have a tradition at Christmas to both read the new Debbie Macomber book!

This is one of my Mom's favorites series, and I'm trying to catch up to all the books currently out, so that I can read this new book when it's released. I'm really loving these books!

Graphic Novels:

This looks cute!

I actually read the books about Karen before I read the BSC books (Which I also love!), and am happy to see they're now being turned into graphic novels, too!

I really liked the first new Archie books they released, and am looking forward to trying this new version of it.

The My Little Pony graphic novels are so good, and clever!

When I was little, Rugrats was one of my favorite shows. When I saw they were making new stories about the characters in graphic novel format, I was really happy! I've really liked the previous ones they've released, and am looking forward to a new one!

This looks like a fun, whimsical read for Halloween!

The Sabrina manga they released years ago were part of what got me into reading comics/graphic novels. This new Sabrina comic looks good!

Looks fun! I've really enjoyed the new TV show they released this year, it's pretty funny! (It's now on Netflix, if anyone is interested in watching it.) I recommend it!

Non-Fiction:

The first two books were really interesting!

Fun fact: I've always thought weather is super interesting, and am almost always drawn to books about it!

It looks interesting!

I randomly found out about this book when I was browsing book recommendations online, and thought it looked interesting.

I could definitely add more books to my TBR list! Do you have any recommendations for me? :)

Why I Have Not Posted

Hi, everyone! This post is going to be about why I kind of just disappeared from the blogging world this year, and what has been going on in my life. I'm going to be talking about my anxiety, so if you want to skip reading this post, I completely understand that.

Okay. This is a little hard to write about, and I don't know if I'm explaining everything properly, but I wanted to write this post. So, I've struggled with anxiety for a long time now, and this year it kind of just reached a high level that I didn't think was possible for me. I was constantly anxious, I couldn't sleep, and I was distancing myself from things I love because of it. I was barely reading, blogging seemed overwhelming, I had stopped crafting, I had a hard time being around big groups of people, I kept getting panic attacks, and I felt pretty bad overall. I was also dealing with physical health problems relating to my Lupus. Because of all of that, I was beginning to get depressed. At the urging of my Mom (Who has been really great and supportive during all this, and I couldn't have gotten through this without her.), I finally talked to my doctor about it. She was really understanding and helpful about it all. I'm now on medication for my anxiety, and it has helped me so much. I'm not back to the way I was before it got really bad, but I'm doing a lot better now. I'm beginning to get back into doing the things I love, and feeling better mentally than I have in a long time. I still have days where it's harder than others, but it's a lot better than before. I'm still having physical problems, but now that I'm doing better mentally, I'm handling the physical problems better.

The reason I'm writing this post now is that I'm hoping to get back into blogging again, and I wanted to explain why I just disappeared from the blogging world. I don't know how often I'll be posting to begin with, but I'm hoping to post at least once a week? I don't know yet. I'm going to post as much as I'm able, and if I need to take a step back again, I will. But I do look forward to blogging again! I have also been thinking about posting about music, TV, and movies, too. I enjoy all of those things, and I thought it might be fun to share what I'm listening to and watching, in addition to what I'm reading!

That's all I have to say today (She says, like she didn't just write a probably entirely too long post.), but I really do look forward to blogging and getting involved in the book world again! Buh-bye for now! And I'll post again soon. :)
