A tween’s foreign exchange experience lands her in London luxury—and some hot water as well!Twelve-year-old Jordan isn’t unhappy, but she’s definitely bored. So when she gets the chance to take part in a London exchange program, she’s thrilled to ditch her small town in Delaware and see the world across the pond.

Unfortunately, Jordan’s host sister in London, Caroline, isn’t exactly enthusiastic about entertaining an American girl. Despite the chilly welcome, Jordan finds herself loving the city and Caroline’s group of friends, who are much nicer than Caroline herself.

And then a major misstep leaves Jordan and Caroline trapped together overnight—inside Daphne’s, the world’s largest department store. Given they have complete access to all the fancy shoes, designer dresses, and coolest makeup around, there are worse places to be stuck. But when the girls’ fun has not-so-fun consequences, Jordan’s wish for excitement abroad turns into a lot more than she ever bargained for..

This sounds like a really fun MG book! And I love books set in different countries so this book looks interesting!

I love my library! I think about 95% of the books I read are from the library and I don't know what I would do without it.

2. Goodreads

It is perfect to help me keep track of what I've read and to help me find new books!

3. Other bloggers blogs

Before I started this blog, I read other peoples blogs for about three years. I would not have heard of as many books as I have without them.

4. Author websites

They help me keep track of when an authors books are coming out and I get to read author blogs!

 5. Twitter
Following authors helps me remember when books are coming out that I want to read.
 
6. Recommendations
My mom recommends books to me and so does the youth librarian at my library.
 
7. AOL Reader
It helps me keep track of all the blogs I read. It makes it so much easier!

Mini Reviews Featuring Money Run, 45 Pounds (more or less), The Distance Between Us.

Mini Reviews
I've seen other blogs do this so I decided to try it myself. Just because I'm doing a mini review of a book does not mean I did not like it, just that I can't think of anything new to add to a review that someone else has not already said in their own!

Money Run by Jack Heath

Review: I thought this was a pretty good book. I liked Ash and thought she was interesting. Peachey was...very creepy, which he was supposed to be. It reminded me of a more violent Heist Society, so if you like that book you should try this one or vice versa. Definitely recommended if you like action books!

45 Pounds (more or less) by K. A. Barson

Review: I was really looking forward to this book and I was not disappointed! I thought the main character was very genuine and her crush was sweet. I also liked that her family was a main part of this book and they all had different personality's that helped move the story along. It was a very good debut book, and I'm excited to see what else the author writes!


The Distance Between Us by Kasie West

Review: I thought this was a very fun, nice, romantic book! I liked how it wasn't a predictable romance. It was also nice that Caymen and her mom had a strong relationship, you don't see that much in YA! I loved Xander! I thought the ending was a little rushed, but I probably just think that because I would love to see more of these characters and hear more of their story! Overall a very good book!

I checked all of these books out at my local library.
