Top Ten 2014 Releases I'm Dying To Read

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish Blog

Ahhh, it's hilarious that you all think I'll be able to pick only ten! After getting rid of multiple books from this list, I was only able to narrow it down to fifteen. (with a few bonus at the bottom) I've decided to break it up in to categories to make it look a little neater. ;)

Top Ten Fifteen (Well, maybe more than fifteen.)  2014 Releases I'm Dying To Read

Let the Storm Break by Shannon Messenger (Shannon Messenger has become one of my favorite authors this year, and I'm really excited to read the sequel to Let the Sky Fall!)

Summer State of Mind by Jen Calonita (I loved Sleepaway Girls! I didn't know there would be a sequel until recently, and I'm excited to read it next year!)

Moonkind by Sarah Prineas (Love the first two books, and I'm excited to see how the trilogy ends.)

At Your Service by Jen Malone (This sounds like a fun Middle Grade book!)

My Faire Lady by Laura Wettersten (This book sounds and looks adorable!)

Open Road Summer by Emery Lord (I love the summary for this one!)

Defy by Sara B. Larson (This book sounds like it will be amazing!)

The Geography of You and Me by Jennifer E. Smith (I LOVE TSPOLAFS! I also really enjoyed This is What Happy Looks Like. Jennifer E. Smith is one of my favorite authors!)

On the Fence by Kasie West (I really enjoyed The Distance Between Us, and I'm looking forward to this new book by her.)

The Chapel Wars by Lindsey Leavitt ( I read Sean Griswolds Head awhile ago, but I remember really liking it! This new book looks like it will be a very good one! And I love the cover of it. It's very different looking, don't you think?)

Just Like the Movies by Kelly Fiore (The plot of this one sounds adorable!)

Better Off Friends by Elizabeth Eulberg (I love the premise of this one.)

Wildflower by Alecia Whitaker (I love the premise of this one too! It reminds me of Taylor Swift.)

Royally Lost by Angie Stanton (Looks like an fun read!)

How to Meet Boys by Catherine Clark (This one looks like a fun read, too!)

Bonus Books I'm Looking Forward To:  Wanderville by Wendy McClure, Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins, The Only Thing Worse Than Witches by Lauren Magaziner, Say What You Will by Cammie McGovern,  Cress by Marissa Meyer, Alienated by Melissa Landers, All Four Stars by Tara Dairman, Ask Again Later by Liz Czukas, and Wish You Were Italian by Kristin Rae.

Okay, that turned out to be a very long list! What books are you all looking forward to next year?

  1. A lot of people have The Geography of You and Me on their lists. Guess I'd better look into it.

  4. The Geography of Me and You!!! and On the Fence! I forgot to put those on my list and I really really want to read them! I have so many debuts that I want to read I decided to save them for a list of their own. But the ones you have up there look good esp. Open Road Summer :)

    1. I'm really excited for both of those! And yes, I could have kept listing debuts but figured I should stop if I didn't want the post to be 100 books long! :)

  6. HOW did I forget Summer State of Mind? The problem with this topic is that I'm always going, "AGH" when I see others' lists because I still forget some. Chapel Wars, My Faire Lady, Open Road Summer...so many I want! Love the list, Jessica, but I already knew I would :)

    1. I did that too! After looking at other peoples list I realized how many I forgot to mention. Probably for the best, since my post would have been waaaaaayy longer than this if I had remembered them all! ;) And thank you! I loved your list too! :)

  18. I had a hard time narrowing down just 10 books too! I ended up with 11 or so I think, and they're ones I'm salivating over lol. From your list I only know of Cress and Alienated, both I'm eagerly awaiting. I'll have to check out Royally Lost; that looks fabulous!

    Happy blogging :)
