There are spoilers in the summary below for previous books!
At Ever After High, everyone is expected to sign the Storybook of Legends, pledging to follow in their fairytale parent's footsteps. But when Raven Queen came along, things became fairy, fairy confusing. Now no one's destiny is certain, not even for the most royal of them all, Apple White. When a mysterious being from Wonderland begins to infect Ever After High with a strange magic, everything goes topsy-turvy. The students transform into animals and objects, palace mice talk, and the beautiful green grounds on campus fade to black-and-white. Lizzie Hearts, Wonderland's future queen, Cedar Wood, daughter of Pinocchio, and Madeline Hatter, heir to the Mad Hatter's Hat and Tea Shoppe, seem to be the only ones who haven't completely lost their heads. It's up to them to save their best friends forever after from a curse that threatens to give their school-and their lives-a very unhappy ending.Don't miss Book #1,Ever After High: Storybook of Legends and Book #2, Ever After High: The Unfairest of Them All!
-summary from Goodreads
Plot: While I love the first two books, I have to admit that this third book is my favorite of them all! I think that this book had a more fast-paced plot than the first two, and you got to learn more about the world of Ever After! A few questions I had regarding the world were answered, which I was happy about! And the world of these books are just fun!
Characters: I didn't realize going into this book that Raven Queen and Apple White weren't the main characters in it (I don't think we got anything from their POV in the book.), and that was a bit of a surprise to me, but I actually preferred that. While I did like them in the books, it was fun to get to read from the POV of Lizzie Hearts, Cedar Wood, and Madeline Hatter! (My very favorite character in the books!) And one thing that I love about these books is that all of the characters are just like the world, fun!
The cover: Love! And I love that Madeline Hatter is on the cover of it! And I know this doesn't technically have anything to do with the cover or the book, but I just love how pages look in these books, they're pretty!
Overall: I have honestly enjoyed reading these books! The world, characters, and plot have been a lot of fun! And while I'm sad to see it end, I'm looking forward to reading the short story collection that's been released, as well as the new series by Suzanne Selfors! (The first book is Next Top Villain in January, from the POV of Lizzie Hearts and Duchess Swan!) Highly recommend these books!
I checked this book out from my library.
