A Round-Up of Recent Reads

I know I haven't been blogging much recently (I'm hoping to begin posting more soon.), but just because I haven't been posting, doesn't mean I haven't been reading. I've been reading some really good books! And while I feel like it's been too long since I read them to write full reviews, I thought writing this round-up post would be a nice way of still letting these books get some attention here on my blog!

Here we go! :)

Compass South by Hope Larson and illustrated by Rebecca Mock

Not only is this GN one of my favorite books I've read this year, but I have to say that it's now one of my favorites of all-time! It's set in 1860, and is about twins Cleo and Alex. This is such a good adventure story (And I love the art in it!), and I'm really looking forward to the next book releasing in 2017! Seriously, if you like GN's at all, then I feel like this is a must read.

The Three Thieves Graphic Novel series books #1-#6 by Scott Chantler

I found the first six books of this series on the shelf at the library, and on a whim decided to try them. I'm so glad I did! These books are so good! I love the characters, the story, and the art! I now have the seventh (and final) book on hold at the library, and am so looking forward to seeing how it all ends in that book! Highly recommend these books!

The Rat Prince by Bridget Hodder

A really good MG Cinderella retelling with some fun twists in it! And I really loved the ending! If you love fairytale retellings, then this is one I would definitely recommend to you!

The Heiress and the Chauffeur Vol. 2 by Keiko Ishihara

This was a good ending to a good series! I loved the romance in it! If you're looking for a new Manga to read, definitely try this series! And at just two volumes, it won't take you long to read, so you get a satisfying ending quickly! (Though, if you're like me, you'll probably want to reread them!)
